This blog is conceived as a thought experiment, a creative exchange for ideas where a hundred trolls of different forms would be envisioned and rendered.
From the Wikipedia entry on the mythical being:
"In Old Norse sources, beings described as trolls dwell in isolated rocks, mountains, or caves, live together in small family units, and are rarely helpful to human beings."
